TARGET OPERATING MODEL DESIGN
- Lead the design and refinement of a TOM that aligns people, processes, and technology with the company’s strategic goals. It includes mapping out key processes, defining roles, and ensuring the proper use of technology.
- Advise the Board on structuring an optimal TOM that enhances organizational agility, efficiency, and customer focus.
- Provide insights on aligning the company’s value chain and customer journey with the TOM, ensuring the business is well-positioned to deliver value to its stakeholders.
ORGANISATIONAL ALIGNMENT
- Ensure the operating model is structured to support cross-functional collaboration and eliminate silos, optimizing communication and workflow across the organisation.
- Align operating models with the strategic goals to ensure the company can achieve critical objectives while maintaining operational efficiency.
SUSTAINANILITY & ESG INITIATIVES
- Lead efforts in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, aligning business strategy with sustainability goals.
- To meet stakeholder expectations, advise on integrating ESG into the company’s operational and financial strategy.
M&A AND STRATEGIC TRANSACTIONS
- Guide mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or joint ventures, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee due diligence and integration processes to maximize transaction value.
GOVERNANCE & OVERSIGHT
- Provide strategic guidance on corporate governance, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Offer an objective, unbiased perspective on business strategy and performance, helping Boards navigate complex decisions.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating strategic and operational risks.
- Strengthen risk oversight by contributing to developing a robust risk management framework.
AUDIT & PERFORMANCE REVIEWS
- Contribute to the audit process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and sustainability reports (e.g. CSRD).
- Evaluate and ensure accountability for results.
STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS
- Improve relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, partners and customers.
- Enhance communication and transparency between the Board and management team.
